Join the Design Studies Institute for a screening of "On Hands," which tells the remarkable story of 20 designers and artists whose essential tools are their hands. In an age where technology has integrated itself in so much of our lives, filmmaker Lajwanti Pershad Waghray sought to reconnect audiences with the importance of using our hands. "On Hands" offers a reminder that using our hands not only brings people together through art, music, and food; it teaches us ways ethnically and culturally diverse communities express themselves through their craft, and that we all have such potential.
This online screening will be followed immediately by a discussion.
