Sustainability is a design decision. This course considers the implications design has on the environment and how sustainable design decisions move society towards a circular economy. This course explores the use of low impact materials and energy efficient processes in the production of designed goods and services. Students will work to extend, transform, and recover products and materials to create alternatives to linear production and consumption.
