Design permeates every moment, solution, and product in life. This course introduces students to the practice of design thinking through an interdisciplinary lens while exploring the ever-expanding role of the designer in shaping and creating change in society. Students will focus on discovering the design thinking process and defining their own entry point into the practice of design. Students will emerge with a fuller understanding of professional design practice and the ability to solve problems through design.
